How to Create a Website Using AI

Hey there. Make a website, you say? Too much hassle thinking about the codes, the designing, or just where to begin. Hence, you’re not alone.

Some years ago, the whole process seemed rocket science to me. I would stare at the blank screens, Google for terms like “HTML for beginners,” and panic. Now that AI has been able to take over much of the process, building websites has become so much easier. You honestly do not have to be an ace in tech.

So, let’s simple this down into steps. No confusing jargon. Just the action.

Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Website with AI

Step 1: Decide on your website’s purpose

Ask yourself:

  • Is it a personal blog?
  • Portfolio?
  • An online store?

Is it a landing page for a service or product?_Start simple. One purpose is enough to get going. You can scale later.

Step 2: Pick an AI Website Builder

Good news? No coding. Some of the easiest to use will be:

  • Wix ADI (Artificial Design Intelligence) – Just a few questions and your site is built.
  • Durable.co – AI literally builds your business site in 30 seconds.
  • Bookmark – AI named AIDA builds from scraping based on what you need.
  • Hostinger Website Builder – Simple, smart, and has its own design recommendations.
  • Framer AI – Great if you want clean modern sites with fast set-up.

Choose one you like the feel of. Most of them will have free plans or trials-thus you can experience them without paying a single rupee.

Step 3: Let AI construct the structure

After you’ve signed up, the AI typically asks:

  • What’s your business or website about?
  • What type of pages do you need? (About, Services, Blog, Contact, etc.)
  • What style or vibe do you like?

Then it’ll generate a layout with content, colors, fonts—like magic. You can always adjust it later.

Step 4: Make the content your own

Now comes the best part—making it yours. You can:

  • Alter the headlines and text
  • Add your own pics or use the AI’s recommendations
  • Change contact info or social links
  • Swap fonts and colors if you want a different atmosphere

Tip: If you’re stuck writing copy, software like ChatGPT can assist you in writing About pages, bios, or service descriptions (like we’re having this conversation now!).

Step 5: Add features if necessary

Most AI creators allow you to add:

  • Contact forms
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Email subscriptions
  • Testimonials
  • Chatbots (???? You already know how to do this!)

Simply click +Add or drag and drop elements.

Step 6: Preview and publish

When your site appears just the way you like it, click Preview. Click around, test links, and check it on mobile. Then, click Publish—and voilà! Your site goes live on the web!

You can use a free domain to start (like yourname.wixsite.com), or hook up a custom one (like yourbusiness.com).

???? Real Talk: What AI won’t do

AI provides a wonderful starting point, but your magic—the personal touch—is what takes the site to being truly yours. Don’t worry about it being perfect. The objective is progress, not perfection.

Wrapping It Up

Building a website with AI today is planting a seed. The tools are available, the process is easier than ever before, and you don’t have to be a techie to create something beautiful and functional. Just begin.

So…

What type of website are you envisioning?

Is it a blog, an online store, or somewhere to share your work?

Leave it in the comments—I’d love to know what you’re creating.
